Franco Kraiselburd was born in Boston and grew up in Brazil where he discovered his love of research. He learned his values and work ethic from his parents. “Franco is a 4th-year Biomedical Engineering student at Case Western Reserve University. Franco begun his scientific career at the early age of 12, and has spent the last 9 years dedicating his life to the development of accessible and impactful advanced medical devices, translating from several different labs within the Tissue Engineering field into the market. After 5 years working in the University of São Paulo (Brazil), Franco proceeded to move to Cleveland, OH, to work in the Regenerative Medicine field with Dr. Arnold Caplan, the Father of Mesenchymal Stem Cells, where he has spent his last 4 years. A scientist and entrepreneur, Franco is constantly trying to connect ideas and reality.
